Pigs in Blankets – really? These are little sausages or wieners that are wrapped in bread or pastry. At least in North America it is bread, in the UK they wrap them in bacon.
In some places they are also called appetizers!
There is a gadget for everything and we have silicone molds for making your Pigs in Blankets. You simply put the sausage in the centre of the pig mold, pour in pancake batter and bake for 20 minutes.
This is the picture on the box of what they look like prior to eating.
Cute! This is real kid food or comfort food, depending on your age. And if you have little ones to impress, especially the picky eaters, this is the thing to get.
We also have a new line of Mobi kitchen gadgets that look both sleek and modern, for the older kids you are trying to impress.
There are vegetable peelers – straight, serrated and julienne. And Odor Steelers which are metal scrubbers to remove fish, garlic or onion from your hands.
Finally there is a small cheese grater and storage container that looks like a round of cheese. It grates in every direction you move the cheese and won’t make a mess on your table.
See you at Scoop N’ Weigh: The Candy Store for Grown Ups!
P.S. We have fresh figs again. You can buy them in packages or bulk.
P.P.S. You know how you or your parents are always complaining about how small the print is on packages? We have a magnifying glass that is magnetic so you can keep it on your fridge. Both practical to use and easy to find!
Yes I am getting one; I remember when the writing was larger and easier to read on the packages! I’m getting one for my mom, too. Mom, ignore this!
