Need to wow them with something different you baked for Christmas? How about a Panforte? This is an Italian Christmas/Fruit cake. It is rich, chewy and made with fruit and nuts; less cake and more like an Eat-More Candy Bar (remember that?).
This is a nibbly cake you eat with a good drink and other little bits of finger foods. Elegant snack food to add to your classiness!
The Hanukkah and Christmas paper napkins are out and for all you cat people, there are three to choose from. Cats with Hats is my favourite; Cat with Sunglasses is cool; and Cats with Boots is cute.
We even have Christmas Camping Trailer paper napkins and a Christmas Camping Trailer Salt and Pepper Set. I don’t go to my trailer in the winter, but as a confirmed “Trailer Trash”, having these reminders makes me smile and count the days until I am sleeping in my trailer again.
See you at Scoop N’ Weigh: The Candy Store for Grown Ups getting ready for the Holiday Season!
P.S. Drizzling a cookie is a pain. First you melt the chocolate, then try to drizzle without globbing. I am horrible at this, so I usually opt to dust with icing sugar. Wilton has a new product: Candy Melt Drizzle Pouches.
You melt it in the packaging in a microwave, cut the end off and drizzle. Yes, I know, it is not really good chocolate, but it is easy. Just the finishing touch you need. We have it in red, green, white and chocolate colour; all are vanilla flavoured.
P.P.S. We are clearing out Gingerbread Man Baking Pans.
